Founder & CEO-
Bill Murphy is the founder of Mac Murchadha, established to deliver structured liquidity solutions for investors navigating increasingly complex private and illiquid portfolios.His background spans capital strategy, private markets evaluation, and institutional advisory roles, including Director, Capital Strategy at Bank of America and Director, Investment Research at Simon Quick.
Over the course of his career, he has developed a focused expertise in structuring financing solutions against complex asset bases where conventional lending frameworks are insufficient. Bill brings a disciplined underwriting approach and a highly tailored structuring perspective to each engagement.
He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
Joe Drozd
Principal-
Joe Drozd brings over 15 years of experience in private markets underwriting and investment analysis.
Over the course of his career, he has evaluated more than 3,500 alternative investments and served as both a portfolio manager and strategic operator, leading firm-wide growth initiatives across investment platforms.
Joe has developed deep expertise in underwriting discipline, portfolio construction, and the evaluation of complex and non-traditional asset classes.
He advises Mac Murchadha on underwriting standards, portfolio strategy, and complex asset evaluation.
Joe holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Mike Novak
Head of Origination-
Mike is a financial services professional with over 15 years of experience across credit origination and investment management.
He has sourced, structured, and closed over $100 million in residential mortgage transactions, bringing a disciplined approach to complex credit execution.
Over the course of his career, Mike has developed a strong foundation in transaction execution, credit analysis, and client advisory across a range of lending environments.
Previously, he managed more than $1 billion in assets as a Portfolio Advisor and began his career in the operations and trading group of a $10 billion RIA during a period of significant firm growth.
Chris Frissora
Advisor-
Chris is a senior credit investor and portfolio manager with deep experience across private credit, distressed debt, and asset-based lending.
He is currently Managing Director and Head of Credit at K8 Capital. Previously, he was a Portfolio Manager and Co-Founder of CCOF Management LP, a ~$100 million private credit firm focused on asset-based lending to early-stage venture companies, and Managing Partner of Maghan Advisors, a family office investment firm specializing in opportunistic private credit.
Earlier in his career, Chris was a Managing Director in Angelo Gordon’s distressed credit group and a Vice President at Monarch Alternative Capital, where he sourced, structured, and managed complex investments across illiquid asset pools and corporate restructurings.
He currently serves as a Board Member or Observer to several private companies, including Vivrelle, Royal Electric Vehicles, The Mining Store, and Frederick Automotive.
Chris holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA in Politics from Princeton University.
